Job Description:
Northwest Building Supply is looking for a motivated Service Technician to help grow our rapidly expanding business. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the installation and fabrication of quartz and natural stone surfaces like marble, granite, and travertine. We are looking for someone who delivers quality work and believes in ALWAYS being on time for a job.
- Most work occurs in residential homes both new construction and remodel.
- Base pay per hour is negotiable depending on experience.
- Use of a company vehicle during work hours.
- Company paid holidays.
Requirements:
- Caulking experience
- Tile installation/repair experience (preferred but not required)
- Stone (marble, granite) honing, polishing experience
- Experience working/servicing quartz products
- Ability to discuss/explain solutions with the design team and clients
- Experience providing service to home and business owners
- Friendly and motivated
- Detail oriented
- Reliable and On-Time (very important)

Sales Associate - Interior Design Team

Job Description:
We are seeking an Interior Design Consultant – Tile And Stone Sales to become a part of our team! You will plan, design and oversee product installations of residential remodels and new construction.
- Create designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
- Ability to coordinate a variety of colors and materials to achieve clients vision
- Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction
- Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
- Consistent following up on promises and commitments in a timely manner with clients.
- Understand stock levels to ensure customer orders are handled effectively.
- Assist customers in determining order requirements or services.
- Appropriately identify and escalate customer issues.
- Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for customers.
- Complete sales transactions and processing of special orders.
- Coordinate with Scheduler for delivery of material to customer.
- Troubleshoot customer issues during delivery process.
- Retains up to date knowledge of company products
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Photoshop, AutoCad, or other design software, a plus
- Previous experience in interior design or other related fields
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
